RIT Suicide Training

One of the hardest things to do is to ask a person if they want to commit suicide.  This class is designed to break down that road block so you can have that tough conversation and know what to do when the answer that person gives you is yes they have a plan and want to complete suicide.  The Suicide RIT class will train responders to recognize the risk factors and behaviors of someone who is suicidal as a prevention tool.  This class will also give techniques on how to talk down a person who is in the process of wanting to complete suicide and get them to the proper resources.  This is an interactive class where participants will practice the techniques that they learn so that they can be confident in their skills and take them into the field.
